Just got mine fresh out of the box from EDC Knives and I love this thing!

are u going to put loctite on it?

Sure most of the time with a new Bali I flip it until it gets as loose as I like then count the turns backing the screws out put a small drop and count the turns back in.

Got my 51 a couple of days ago. Seems to be very comfortable all around EDC with good flipping capabilities.
Similar to 4x locking mechanism style and the same size, but different knife overall. An apparently friendly
flipper knife. Surgeon style 4x is something I prefer not to take out in presence of unknown people and even
in presence of colleagues/relatives. 51 is much better from this point of view.
It is light. For an EDC it is very good. Beside that occasional flippers like me are able to flip it with ease.
I think it sells well and it is the kind of knife that promotes balisongs in general and makes them friendly.

p.s.
Unfortunately my exemplar's blade is off center and is slightly rubbing against safe handle
Not a big deal but yet annoying. Am I just paranoid here?

Given the inherent play in this kind of knife, I doubt you need to worry.

Got mine a few days ago, and it is a great knife. Where the 42 (and family) will always be the pinnacle of Bali design, the 51 makes a better carrying package.

One of the reasons I sold my 42 was that unless you carried in a belt sheath, it was not a great carry knife. The 51 flips well, look GREAT, and carries even better.
