Those are definitely 42's, or at least their stand ins. That was a very unambiguous product plug in the movie, no need to wonder what knife they were using like we usually do from grainy pics. Movie props are often modified, usually for the sake of safety and whatnot, but those are 42's. I agree it's the lighting that isn't very good. Maybe they modified them a bit, but there's nothing obvious that would indicate that

the holes in the handles have been filled with something. someone on another forum suggested that it might be to reduce glare from the harsh lighting required to shoot a movie.

Just watched the movie. I think the 42's should get "Best Supporting Actor".

Can't believe I still haven't seen this. Just put it on my netflix, I'll have to pull my 42 out when I watch it. Like how I pull my Garand and a 1911 out of my safe to play with when I watch Gran Torino. Big Grin
