On 11/29/11, Blade HQ changed the price of their BM 42 from $280 to $182.50. I don't think this was a typo. I called and asked them what was up, and they gave me a BS non answer. On 12/ 1/11, they changed the price back to $280. Therefor, I think it , the 62, will be a sandwich 42 clone, priced at retail with the 51, and discounted to $182.50. I hope the sandwich has titanium handles, steel spacers, 154cm weehawk, spring latch, and zen pins. I hope I'm not fos. | |||

seems like it will be stainless steel handles. will be hard to adjust for flipping  latch looks old fashioned - not a spring latch "I see you have constructed a new lightsaber." | |||

we will have to see what it weighs in at...honestly the 42 to me was too light in the handles. I really like this idea. If the price is right I will end up choosing it instead of a 51. Sandwich construction and stainless steel should keep the price near the 51. I liked being able to lock the old t-latch 42s closed. And liked the "bounce" the zen pins the 51 gave. And the fact it looks like a 42 is awesome. I've been bored at my desk lately. I can't wait to flip a 62. Right now I'm trying to decide which of my favorite retailers to get the 62 from. I'm looking forward to more details. Thank you for this awesome product Benchmade! | |||

Pretty sure I read that it is a spring latch so it will not close while flipping.
