Received mine today and overall I'm pleased with it. Craftsmanship is spot on however I do prefer the longer handles of the 42. The 62 is just short enough that the ends/edges of the handles dig into my palm. Where did you preorder from? Also when did you preorder it? I ordered mine from knifeworks about a month ago. Just curious. I'm hoping mine goes out with the first shipment that comes in. Anybody know if there were a lot of people preordering this? It seems like it from what I've read on the knife forums. I wonder if it broke any production/order records for benchmade. | |||

I preordered from Knifeworks the minute I saw it. It was Jan, maybe Dec. Anyway there first batch came in last week I think and I had Ashley put mine with the order I had for a satin blade Contego. Since then I changed my mind and I now have the 62 going out tomorrow and a delivery of Friday/Saturday. Got mine today, 143 of 300, sure is a beauty and flips quite nicely, into the safe she goes! Will use my next one to REALLY play with. Thanks Benchmade!   | |||
